Practice Overview

Harris is a former solicitor-advocate with years of commercial litigation experienced gained at major UK and US law firms.

His practice covers advising and acting as advocate on a broad range of commercial and commercial chancery matters, with particular emphasis on:

  • business litigation, including disputes before the High Court and County Courts, and involving commercial contracts, joint ventures, companies, partnerships, insurance and allegations of fraud;
  • international arbitration, including investor/state disputes, under UNCITRAL, ICC, LCIA, Swedish Chamber of Commerce, and ICSID rules; and
  • banking and financial services.

Harris has acted in the above matters for investment banks, hedge funds, international and domestic companies, public and government bodies and individuals. Many of his cases have an international element.

Harris is routinely instructed as junior to Queen's Counsel, as well as on his own account.

Harris has also served on arbitration tribunals and is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
