Lawrence's practice centres on complex, high-value business disputes and transactions, often with an offshore or international aspect.  Mental agility and a dynamic approach focused on solutions has drawn an enviable international client base.

He has wide experience of financial market and security transactions and investment funds of most kinds.  His background in structuring and insolvency as well as offshore trusts and vehicles have all been invaluable during  2010/11 and recent years of market difficulty.  Dealing with the fall-out of the global financial crisis in, banks and funds have accounted for much of his workload in this period.  Problems have included both disastrous worldwide investments made by funds, banks and other institutions, as well as the operational issues and rescue attempts consequent on them.  High on the list of repetitive problems are liquidity and regulatory issues and provisioning for impairment of assets.   In addition, he has been hard at work in re-domiciling organisations consequent on events in the Turks & CaicSkills in accountancy and valuation are an important tool in this work.

2010/11  has seen Lawrence at work inthe Turks & Caicos Islands, Bahrain,  South Africa and Luxembourg as well as the more usual locations of  Cayman, BVI and the USA.
