Michael Bloch QC is a commercial and intellectual property specialist with considerable experience both as a trial lawyer and as an appellate advocate.

Michael spent his early years as a barrister at the Defamation Bar, advising and appearing in libel actions on behalf of the BBC, The Times and other major media groups. He then developed an extensive commercial and intellectual property practice covering banking, contract, civil fraud, confidence, equity and trust disputes, as well as competition, copyright, design, passing off and trade mark law and intellectual property licensing.

Qualifications

Michael studied philosophy and economics as an undergraduate at Cambridge and went on to do an M.Phil. at UEA before qualifying for the Bar in 1979.
