Recent cases include Madoff Securities International Limited v Raven and others; Calyon (the former Credit Agricole) in Michaildiis v Calyon due to be heard in the Privy Council again in 2014/15.  He has also acted for Orient Express Group Ltd in Bermuda and successfully argued that under Bermuda company law a company can be controlled by its wholly owned subsidiary; and for the liquidators of Lehman Bros in their successful application for leave to distribute $19 Billion.   

Much of his work is international in nature and he has a well-deserved reputation for his international expertise, acting and advising in the UK Courts and in many offshore jurisdictions and arbitral tribunals. In addition to being a member of the Gibraltar Bar, he has also been admitted in the Bahamas, Bermuda, the BVI, the Eastern Caribbean Bar and the Isle of Man and advises frequently in relation to aspects of the laws of Jersey and the Isle of Man and the laws of other members of the Commonwealth. His pre-eminence in multi-jurisdictional disputes involves him in strategy, interim remedies such as freezing injunctions, conflicts of law, and asset tracing and recovery.
