Christopher has experience of both arbitrations and mediations and is also a qualified mediator.

Recent and notable cases include:

• Acted in an arbitration of a multi-million £ claim by the purchaser of a life business against the vendor for an indemnity in relation to pensions misselling [2006].
  
  
• Acted for successful claimant in an arbitration over an on-site electricity agreement as to whether the cost of carbon trading could be passed on by the generator to the consumer [2005].
  
  
• Acted in New York arbitration in successful defence of claims brought in relation to Bermuda pension scheme [2005].
  
  
• Acted as mediator in very large professional negligence claim brought by trustees of pension scheme against actuaries [2008].
