Christopher has advised and acted in relation to trust litigation in various offshore and international jurisdictions.

Recent and notable cases include:

• Acted for administrator of Norwegian estate in long-running litigation in the Cayman Islands claiming the assets of offshore trusts.  This included an appeal to the Privy Council on the validity of charitable trusts: A-G of Cayman Islands v Wahr-Hansen. [2000]
  
  
• Acting for Cayman Island trustees in defending multi-million dollar claim for breach of trust. [ongoing]
  
  
• Acting for protector in litigation concerning ownership of Gibraltar trusts. [ongoing]
  
  
• Acted in New York arbitration in successful defence of claims brought in relation to Bermuda pension sceme. [2005]
  
  
• Retained by English trustees to give expert evidence on English trust law in malicious prosecution action in California. [2004]
  
  
• Acted for respondent wife in Court of Appeal as to treatment of offshore trusts in ancillary relief applications, and subsequently in relation to enforcement action offshore: Charman v Charman. [2007]
