Edward has considerable experience of cases about ownership of, or rights in or over, land and disputes between landlord and tenant. His practice ranges from possession proceedings to major litigation about high-value property.  Cases include:

• Advising the defendant in a substantial properietary estoppel case involving a high value development site;
  
  
• Acting as junior counsel in a dilapidations claim involving a high specification air conditioning system.
  
  
• Acting as junior counsel for the defendant in a claim to rectify a major advertising lease.
  
  
• Acting for the claimant in a claim for an injunction to restrain trespass to a valuable and historic oyster fishery.
  
  
• Acting for the defendants in a claim to set aside the transfer of a residential property between family members.
  
  
• Advising a tenant on a high value programme of works in a large residential block and the recoverability of the cost under the service charge provisions.

Edward has also been an editor the Real Property section of Butterworths' Civil Court Precedents.
