Recent/notable cases include:

• Icebreaker 1 LLP v Commissioners for HMRC [2010] UKUT 477 (TCC): Upper Tier Tribunal decision in respect of proper tax treatment of film financing schemes involving limited liabilty partnerships.
  
  
• Acting for HM Revenue & Customs in various appeals before the Tax Chamber of the new Tribunal system in respect of the proper tax treatment of film financing schemes involving limited liability partnerships [2009]
  
  
• Acting for defendant occupational pension scheme trustees in proceedings concerning alleged sale of corporate assets at an undervalue [2009]
  
  
• Advising liquidators on matters arising in respect of the liquidation of a Cayman-based hedge fund (with Tom Lowe QC) [2009]
