Jonathan has experience of dealing with a range of insolvency related matters (corporate and individual), in particular in relation to real property.

Recent/notable cases include:

• Advising the Crown (Bona Vacantia) on issues regarding vesting of assets following dissolution of company (2010)
  
  
• Acting for defendant bankrupt in proceedings brought by trustee in bankruptcy in respect of duties and obligations owed as between bankrupt and trustee in bankruptcy (2010)
  
  
• Advising liquidators on matters arising in respect of liquidation of a Cayman-based hedge fund (with Tom Lowe QC) (2009).
  
  
• Advising the Department for Work and Pensions on implications of personal insolvency in relation to charges in place against residential premises (2009).
  
  
• Acting for defendant occupational pension scheme trustees in proceedings brought by liquidators concerning the alleged sale of corporate assets at an undervalue (2009).
