At present, Jonathan has conducted over 40 mediations. The vast majority of the cases have settled either on the day of the mediation or shortly afterwards. His style of mediation tends to commence non-directionally but he is also keen on a certain amount of ‘reality testing'. Although Jonathan accepts that there are some cases which need a judge rather than a mediator, his acute commercial sense has allowed him to facilitate agreements in a number of cases on bases that the parties had not previously envisaged as possibilities.

Jonathan has conducted mediations in which parties from all walks of life, from FT-SE 100 companies to private individuals, have been involved.
