Michael has appeared and acted in several substantial ICC, LCIA and ad hoc arbitrations over the last couple of years relating to, amongst other things, the leveraged acquisition of a chemicals conglomerate, the intellectual property rights in a pharmaceutical MAB platform, a military procurement partnership dispute and the introduction of new technologies in the coatings and cosmetics industries, as well as other arbitrations in Canada, the IOM and elsewhere relating to the disputed interests in a gaming, hotel and property partnership, patent licences, long term power transmission treaties and banking disputes, including Bankers Trust v The City Of Moscow, Oxford gene Technology v Affymetrix  and Pilkington v PPG.
