Carboni Climbs Kilimanjaro

Wilberforce Chambers IP barrister, Anna Carboni, reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro last week, following a gruelling climb. She fought off altitude-induced heachaches and camped in temperatures down to minu 10 degrees-centrigrade in order to complete the feat.

A member of an informal group of IP lawyers from around the world, known as 'IP-Trek', Anna was raising money for the international development charity, ActionAid. Together with her husband Marius (the only non-lawyer among 20 on the trip), Anna returned to London this week to collect the proceeds from those who had sponsored them to reach the top - or, in one case, per inch climbed! So far, the two of them have raised over £10,600.
