He has acted in a number of complex and high profile cases. A selection of his cases is as follows:

Ackerman v Ackerman [2011] EWHC 3428: Trial of a large shareholders' dispute, challenge of an expert determination dividing the shareholders' business interests by Andrew Thornhill QC.

Robins v Kordowski [2011] EWHC 981 (news story): Defamation claim acting for the claimant solicitors firm against the owner of Solicitors from Hell website. Wide media coverage of the case which led to the Law Society taking proceedings.

Trinidad & Tobago Unit Trust Corp [2011]: Expert opinion on English law for proceedings in US and Turks & Caicos for conspiracy, constructive trust, fraud, dishonest assistance and knowing receipt in relation to a Mandarin Hotel development.

Re ABC Trust [2011]: multi million pound dispute against former trustees for breach of trust in relation to investment policy and conflict of interest.

Re XYZ Trust [2011]: acting for former trustees and trustee company directors defending claims of fraudulent dissipation of trust assets and negligent investments.

United Breweries v Hawker Aviation [2010]: dispute over aviation maintenance contract with respect to Dr Vijay Mallya's private jet.

Jenington v Assaubayev [2010]: Kazakhstan gold mine fraud claim of over £200 million, worldwide freezing injunctions, search and seizure orders and disclosure orders.

A v B [2010]: commercial domestic arbitration against two local authorities for breach of care services provision contract and loss of £10 million profit.

Reeves v Sprecher [2008] All ER(D) 311: multi-jurisdiction hedge fund dispute between co-shareholders.

Leeds United FC v The Football League [2008] BCC 701: acting for Leeds United FC in respect of its 15-points deduction.

Re a Syndicate of Banks: advising a syndicate of investment banks in relation to Islamic finance and claims under Sharia compliant loans.

Flogas UK Ltd (1) v Calor Gas Ltd & Another [2007] EWHC 1303 (QB): restraint of trade dispute between employer and former employee and principles for injunctive relief.

Bouverie No 1 Ltd v De Vere Hotels & Leisure Ltd [2006] EWHC 2242: intellectual property dispute, acting for the owners of the Belfry Hotel against hotel operators De  Vere.

The Welcome Break Group: advising bond holders in dispute relating to the acquisition of the Welcome Break chain.

NCR Ltd v Riverland [2004] 16 EG 110: issues of sham, reverse premium.

Re SphinX Hedge Funds [2010]: acting for substantial creditor in the wind up of the SphinX hedge funds, advising in relation to potential scheme of arrangement.

The Anders Jahre Estate litigation: complex breach of trust claims in relation to a very substantial Norwegian estate.

Cayman General Insurance Co Ltd & Others v Crawford Adjusters & Others: acting for building contractors in defending fraud claims in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan.

Re the ABC Trust: represented the Claimant beneficiary in a large family trusts dispute against professional trustee for conflict of interest and exclusion.

Grand Cay Developments Ltd (in liquidation) v Griesel & Others: misfeasance action by liquidators against former directors
