He has acted in several professional negligence claims against trustees, solicitors and surveyors.  He acts on behalf of claimants and insurers. He is experienced in dealing with cases which concern the construction and application of the Minimum Terms & Conditions. He has substantial experience in professional disciplinary matters, and acts for the Bar Standards Board as prosecutor against barristers in breach of the Code of Conduct. Recent cases include:

The Estate of ABC [2011]: several million pound fraud and negligence claim against solicitor acting for estate.

A v B solicitors [2010]: negligent conveyance of commercial property against well known firm of solicitors, settled before trial.

Environment Agency v Lewin Fryer Partners & Another [2006]: multi-million pound action by the Environment Agency against a firm of hydraulic engineers.

Strong v Lamberts Solicitors [2008]: negligence claim against solicitors in relation to residential development, complex issues of loss and duty of care.

Brazier v Burton Ho & Ho [2009]: defended attempted strike out of claim against negligent solicitor, remedy - diminution in value or cost of repair.
