As well as appearing in the jurisdictions mentioned above, we also advise clients in the USA, Switzerland, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, Russia, Ireland, the British Virgin Islands, the Turks & Caicos Islands, Nevis and the Isle of Man.

In addition members of chambers are often chosen to sit as arbitrators and appear as arbitration counsel in a wide range of overseas jurisdictions, as well as to provide expert evidence internationally. Wilberforce barristers are also regulars in the European Court of Justice and in important Privy Council appeals from overseas jurisdictions. The nature of our overseas work reflects the broad spectrum of our expertise, including trusts litigation, company and commercial law, real estate, intellectual property and private international law.

Since international work has been an integral part of our culture for many years, we also understand its practical constraints. Members are happy to make themselves available, often at short notice and regardless of time zone differences, to advise clients during overseas litigation.
