Claire is Declan's PA and performs an important role in supporting him in all aspects of his work, in particular in his overall management of chambers as our Chief Executive.  In addition, she is responsible for the administrative aspects involved in members of chambers' continuing professional development and also provides support and assistance to John Treacy, in general administrative and chambers management matters.

Claire initially began her career in chambers as our receptionist, before moving onto the main clerks' desk where she was an important member of the clerking team for many years.  After her departure on maternity leave in 2004, she returned to chambers in the newly created role of Declan's PA in 2005, following his amalgamation of the roles of Chief Executive and Senior Clerk. 

Outside of chambers, Claire enjoys horse riding and spending time with her family.
