Reiss began his career as a Junior Barristers' Clerk after completing his A Levels. He works alongside the other clerks in the management and development of all aspects of the barristers' practices including diary management, fee negotiation and listing.

Reiss is a member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks and a representative on the Junior Clerks Committee. Reiss achieved a distinction for the IBC's Advanced Award in chambers administration BTEC course and was named 'student of the year'. Outside of chambers Reiss enjoys all sports, particularly football and is a keen supporter of Chelsea FC.
