Tanya started work as a Junior Barristers' Clerk in 1987. She spent 11 years at the Chambers of Anthony Scrivener QC before joining Wilberforce Chambers in 1998.  She was appointed First Junior Clerk in 1998 and now shares this key role with Danny Smillie.  Tanya's role incorporates all aspects of the management and development of Chambers' business including looking after and managing of all the barristers' practices, management of barristers' diaries, acceptance and distribution of work, fee negotiation, client relations, marketing and practice development. 

Tanya sits on the Chambers' Marketing Committee and is a member of the Institute of Barristers' Clerks.
