Thomas has extensive experience of private client work in advising and acting for trustees, executors and beneficiaries in contentious and non-contentious trust and probate/administration of estate matters (but not extending to the giving of specialist taxation advice).

Recent cases:

Walbrook Trustees (Jersey) Ltd and Ors v William Fattal & Ors: (1) WS Fattal (2) ES Fattal (3) Rysaffe Turstees Co (CI) Ltd v Robert Dangoor and six Ors [2008] EWHC 991 (Ch). Thomas has acted since 2003 for offshore trustees in extensive and ongoing trust/property/commercial litigation involving several actions relating to a substantial London property, acquired by a consortium of several trusts initially through a joint venture and subsequently through a corporate structure.
