Tiffany's practice in the area of professional liability has greatly expanded in recent years. She undertakes a wide variety of professional negligence work, whether acting for claimants or for the insured, in claims against solicitors, barristers, accountants, construction professionals (including surveyors and project managers), finance practitioners (including pension advisers), and insurance brokers. There is a high degree of crossover between her professional liability and property and trusts and estates practices. 

Recent casework includes:

• Pritchard Joyce & Hinds v Batcup & Anr (CA) (barristers' negligence claim, alleged failure to advise as to limitation).

• Trustees of Reynard Racing Cars Ltd Directors' Pension Fund v Ridge & Partners LLP (claim against construction and project manager for failure of multi-million pound hotel and restaurant development at Brackley, home of Formula 1).
  
  
• Hannan v Sweetman & Hamlins & Ors (acting for Hamlins in claim by disappointed beneficiary against interim receiver appointed under Mental Health Act 1983 for alleged failure to procure a statutory will).
  
  
• Regent Leisuretime v Jackson (barrister's negligence claim, business transaction, application of the 'Prudential Principle').
  
  
• RBS v Chaffe Street (acting for RBS in property-related solicitors' negligence claim).
  
  
• The Jean Scene v Bury & Walkers (solicitors' negligence relating to operation of break clause in commercial lease).
  
  
• Claims against solicitors and surveyors arising out of negligent (and fraudulent) conveyancing transactions, valuations and mortgage fraud claim.
  
  
• Claims against solicitors and surveyors for negligent advice in relation to lease renewal, leasehold enfranchisement, exercise of break clauses.
  
  
• Claims against barristers for negligent advice on business transactions, in relation to conveyancing and in relation to the conduct of litigation.
  
  
• Claims by beneficiaries of substantial family trusts against professional trustees arising out of misapplication of trust funds, failure properly to administer trusts.
  
  
• Claims by and against trustees of small, medium and large funds arising out of negligent investment of assets.
