Tiffany deals with all aspects of property litigation and advisory work - including commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, real property matters such as rights of way, rights to light, restrictive covenants, adverse possession, trespass, nuisance, proprietary estoppel, service charges, and leasehold enfranchisement. She has recently seen an increase in credit-crunch-related instructions involving property developer and tenant insolvency, mortgage fraud and professional liability. 

She has established solid relationships with good-quality firms providing her with high-profile and challenging instructions. There is a high degree of crossover between her property and professional liability / trusts and estates / private client practices.

  • Acting for Legal & General against Metrovacesa in dispute re: Walbrook EC4.

  • Acting in dispute with Bellway Homes as to completion of mixed use development in Weston-Super-Mare.

  • Acting for Crest Nicholson in dispute relating to completion of multi-million pound residential development at The Crescent, Bristol Harbourside.

  • Langley Park School for Boys v Langley Park School for Girls - representing Governing Body of Boys School in Beckenham in claim for declarations regarding rights of way and ownership of land arising out of redevelopment of sports field.

  • Trustees of Walter Somers Ltd Employees Fund v Somers Sports and Social Club Ltd - acting for trustees of an employees' benevolent fund seeking possession of Grade II listed social club premises in Halesowen.

  • Kopfstein v Bank of Scotland & Ors - acting for solicitors' firm in claim to set aside property transfer and mortgage on grounds of forgery.

  • Thornhill v SITA MR Cambridge Ltd - acting for SITA, UK's largest provider of recycling and waste management services, in claim for injunction and damages for intrusions of noise, vibration and dust from metal recycling premises in Cambridge.

  • Vasiljeva v EAT Ltd - acting for EAT Ltd in claim for damages for noise and odour nuisance.

  • Intertech Properties H Ltd v Berkeley Gemini Ltd - acting for Intertech in claim for injunction and damages for infringement of rights to light arising out of multi-million pound development on the City borders.
