Iain has been involved in several arbitrations, both as sole counsel and as a part of a team. He has experience of arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA and Uncitral rules, as well as domestically under ad hoc arbitrations under the Arbitration Act.
Recent experience includes:
- Involved in ongoing proceedings related to an appeal under the Arbitration Act, sections 67, 68 and 69 in relation to an LCIA award: see Danilina v Chernukhin  1 WLR 758
- Currently instructed in two very substantial (in excess of US$200 million) claims under the ICC Rules relating to the development of gas field
- Instructed in relation to an LCIA arbitration involving a satellite broadcasting company
- Advising on the enforcement of an award under the New York Arbitration Convention
