Practice Overview

Judith has an extensive trust litigation and advisory practice. She combines excellent analytic abilities with a practical approach and is valued for her clear explanations and client-friendly manner. She frequently advises trustees on the variation of trusts, the scope and exercise of trustee powers, and trust administration generally. In addition, she has substantial experience of a broad range of chancery law, acting in cases relating to the validity, construction and rectification of wills and the administration of estates (including family provision cases), co-ownership disputes, and professional negligence claims relating to trusts and estates.

Judith qualified as a mediator in 2011 and has since acted as mediator in a wide range of cases in the chancery field, including claims involving testamentary capacity, breach of contract, negligence, administration of estates, co-ownership of property, and a directors’ dispute.

Judith won Junior of the Year (Private client: Trusts & Probate) at The Legal 500 Awards 2019.

Judith is consistently ranked as a ‘leading junior’ in Chambers and Partners for ‘Chancery Traditional’ and ‘Trusts – London (Bar)’, and in The Legal 500 for ‘Private Client: trusts and probate’.
