James Goodwin is speaking on day 1 of Trusts in Litigation 2025, 8th annual conference.

He is delivering a workshop with Eleanor Davies (Carey Olsen), Alice Rogers (Hall Brown) and Piers Digby (Radcliffe Chambers) entitled “O tempora! O mores! When can you use a litigant’s bad behaviour against them?” 

The session will cover:

  • What to do when tax affairs come under the microscope in trusts litigation
  • When can one use misconduct as a lever?
  • Where is the line between exposing past wrongs and blackmail?

Wilberforce Chambers is also sponsoring the event, hosting a specially curated walking tour around the ancient city, including the exterior of the Colosseum and Imperial Forum, ending at the Piazza Venezia.
