6.30pm - 7.30pm
The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1PL

Wilberforce Chambers invites you to a series of lectures by senior practitioners on technical topics of particular interest to non-contentious pensions lawyers. Wilberforce Chambers has a well-established reputation in the field of pensions law, due in large part to the late Edward Nugee QC, to whose memory these lectures are dedicated. The fields to be covered are members’ rights to information, certain complexities in the moral hazard regime, challenges relating to the PPF and trustees’ duties, and DB schemes on the decline curve.

The last lecture in our series is:

DB schemes on the decline curve

  • When should stakeholders face up to the inevitable?
  • Conflicting duties of directors
  • The position of the Regulator and the PPF
  • Competing remedies under pensions and insolvency law

Speakers:

Gary Squires of AlixPartners and Robert Ham QC

Cost:
£70 + VAT = £84.00 per lecture, or a discounted rate of £250 + VAT = £300 for all four lectures.
