Wilberforce Chambers is delighted to announce the in-person return of the Nugee Pensions Lectures. We invite you to join our pensions team each week in June as they discuss current topics of particular interest. Wilberforce Chambers has a well-established reputation in the field of pensions law, due in large part to the late Edward Nugee QC, to whose memory these lectures are dedicated. The first lecture of 2022 will look at recent developments in pensions and personal bankruptcy; the second covers the interpretation of pensions scheme documents; the third looks at using old law to solve new problems; and the final lecture will explore European pension schemes in a post-Brexit world and the interaction between Sharia law and occupational pensions.
The first session is entitled ‘Pensions and personal bankruptcy: recent developments’ by David Pollard and Joseph Steadman
The full programme for this year’s lectures is linked here.
If you would like to register or have any questions, please email seminars@wilberforce.co.uk.
