Next week, the Supreme Court will hear the appeal of S Franses v Cavendish Hotel (London) Ltd [2017] EWHC 1670 (QB); [2017] EGLR 34 – a major case in respect of the operation of section 30(1)(f) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.

Joanne Wicks QC and Benjamin Faulkner act for the tenant, S Franses, and were granted permission for a leapfrog appeal to the Supreme Court earlier this year.
