Wilberforce Chambers features three times in Estates Gazette’s Top 10 Cases of 2021
EG (Estates Gazette) has released a podcast, discussing the most significant property law cases of 2021. Three of the Top 10 cases involve Wilberforce barristers. This is the third year in a row Chambers has appeared three times in the Top 10!
Taking the number 3 position, is London Trocadero LLP v Picturehouse Cinemas Ltd and others [2021] EWHC 2591 (Ch), involving Jonathan Seitler QC for the defendants.
Awarded the number 6 spot is Joanne Wicks QC‘s Court of Appeal case of Capitol Park Leeds PLC v Global Radio Services Ltd [2021] EWCA CIV 995.
Coming in at number 9 is Mark Wonnacott QC’s unopposed lease renewal case of WH Smith Retail Holdings Ltd v Commerz Real Investmentgesellshaft.
