Wilberforce features three times in EG’s “Top 10 Property Cases of 2020”
EG (Estates Gazette) has released two podcasts, discussing the most significant property law cases of 2020. Three of the top 10 involve Wilberforce members, including the #1 and #3 cases of the year! This is the second year in a row we have appeared three times in the top 10 and also the second consecutive year we have featured in the number 1 case.
EG’s top property case of 2020 is Duval v 11-13 Randolph Crescent Ltd [2020] UKSC 18, in which Joanne Wicks QC and Emer Murphy acted for the appellant. The Wilberforce “Hot Topic” Webinar on this case can be viewed here.
Also in the Supreme Court, and in at number 3, is Alexander Devine Children’s Cancer Trust v Housing Solutions Ltd [2020] UKSC 45, involving Martin Hutchings QC and James McCreath for the appellant. This Wilberforce “Hot Topic” Webinar can be viewed here.
Awarded the number 5 spot is Joanne Wicks QC‘s High Court case of Capitol Park Leeds Plc v Global Radio Services [2020] EWHC 2750.
