Wilberforce welcomes new tenants as growth of its specialist Commercial Group continues

Wilberforce Chambers are delighted to announce that James Bailey and Anna Littler have accepted offers to join Chambers. They will become members of chambers from Thursday 23 February 2017.

James and Anna bring their exceptional reputations in commercial litigation, fraud, company and  insolvency to support the specialist Commercial Group at Wilberforce. James appeared in the long running and controversial Thevarajah litigation, involving an alleged fraud against the purchase of certain Special Purpose Vehicles. There were a number of hearings in the High Court and Court of Appeal, and a Supreme Court hearing in 2016.  Anna’s experience includes acting in the largest case to have been litigated in the Isle of Man, AK Investment v Kyrgyz Mobil Tel Ltd (the “Bitel litigation”), involving allegations of fraudulent misappropriation in relation to a Kyrgyz telecoms operator.
