Overview
Andrew joined Chambers in March 2011 and was promoted to Senior Practice Manager in March 2019 before becoming the Deputy Practice Director in 2024. He works closely with Nicholas Luckman and John Treacy and is responsible (alongside Senior Management) for instigating and delivering agreed business strategies in order to ensure the smooth and professional service provided by Chambers to all clients and its members.
Andrew is currently undertaking his Directors qualification exams at the Institute of Directors. The IoD Certificate in Company Direction provides knowledge required to function as an effective director and leader. Covering governance, finance, strategy and leadership, the certificate is a Bachelors level (SCQF) qualification in its own right and the first stage in the Chartered Director Programme.
During his time in Chambers, Andrew has built experience across all teams in Chambers delivering professional services to domestic, international and offshore legal markets, Andrew also sits on the Management Board within Chambers.
Andrew remains responsible for the management and development of the members within Chambers. This involves all aspects of their practices, client relations, the management of their diaries and the assessment/negotiation of their fees. Andrew works across all specialist areas within Chambers.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys most forms of sport. In his spare time Andrew enjoys playing Padel, Tennis or Golf (in that order). Andrew has previously represented Great Britain at Real Tennis at a Junior Academy level after his knees failed him on the football pitch, he is an avid Arsenal fan.
