Sir Paul Morgan joins Wilberforce Chambers

Wilberforce Chambers is delighted to announce that Sir Paul Morgan has joined Chambers as an arbitrator with immediate effect.

Sir Paul recently retired as a High Court Judge after serving for over 14 years as a judge of the Chancery Division. Sir Paul also sat as a judge in the Upper Tribunal (both the Tax and Chancery Chamber and the Lands Chamber), the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the Administrative Court.

As an arbitrator at Wilberforce Chambers, Sir Paul brings with him an established reputation as a barrister and judge with experience spanning the full range of litigation in the Chancery Division.

Head of Chambers Brian Green QC said: “We are delighted that Sir Paul will be joining Wilberforce Chambers. He has an outstanding reputation as a courteous, considered and rigorous judge with a capacity to deal with a wide variety of commercial cases, in addition to his original property specialisms whilst at the Bar, in which he was recognised as a leader in his field. Sir Paul was invariably a pleasure to appear before, and we very much look forward on a personal as well as a professional level to having him as a colleague.”

Nicholas Luckman (Practice Director) said: “Needless to say, we are all very pleased to be welcoming Sir Paul to Chambers as an arbitrator, following his distinguished judicial career. His extensive experience, both as a barrister and judge, will prove a great asset to us and our clients as we continue to expand our domestic and international arbitration practices.”
