Piercing Trust Structures in Switzerland in Aid of Financial Claims in England

Andrew Mold KC and Roxane Reiser have contributed to the Spring Issue of Financial Remedies Journal.

In this article, Andrew and Roxane discuss the Swiss court’s powers to “lift the veil” between trust structures and the individuals controlling them. They consider how those powers may be deployed in support of divorce litigation in England, both at the interim stage to preserve underlying assets and at the enforcement stage to ensure the effectiveness of the English court’s order.
