ILA Webinar – The Fallout from BHS on Directors’ Duties

Monday 22nd July 2024
11.00am - 12.00pm
Online

Lexa Hilliard KC is speaking at an Insolvency Lawyers’ Association webinar: The Fallout from BHS on Directors’ Duties

Lexa will be speaking on the directors’ duties landscape after the seminal judgment in BHS (Wright & Ors v Chappell & Ors, in which Lexa appeared) – the largest-ever UK wrongful trading award and the first-ever award for “misfeasant trading”. The expert panel will highlight how this and other recent decisions have impacted advice we give to directors, and how to navigate the “zone of insolvency”.

Lexa will be joined by Ryan Perkins (South Square Chambers), Drew Sainsbury (Ashurst) and Nick Charlwood (A&O Shearman).
