Leading Commercial Chancery Silk Thomas Grant KC joins Wilberforce

Wilberforce Chambers is delighted to announce that Thomas Grant KC has joined Chambers from Friday 7th October 2022.

Tom is a leading commercial chancery silk who received the “Chancery Silk of The Year” award from Chambers & Partners in 2021. He has an outstanding reputation in the areas of civil fraud, commercial and commercial chancery litigation, company, banking and secured lending, professional liability, international arbitration, and property. He was recently recommended in 6 practice areas in the 2023 edition of The Legal 500.

In addition, Tom is the joint general editor of, and one of the main contributors to the leading textbook, Civil Fraud: Law, Practice and Procedure (2018 and 2022, Sweet & Maxwell; online, Westlaw). Tom is also the joint general editor of Lender Claims (2010, Sweet & Maxwell), and a contributor to the most recent three editions of The Law of Solicitors’ Liabilities (2008, 2012, 2020, Bloomsbury), the leading textbook on solicitors’ liabilities.

Tom is currently the Chair of the Professional Negligence Bar Association and was last month appointed a Visiting Professor of Law at the LSE.
